How Can I Restore A Deleted File

I accidentally deleted an important file, how can I restore a deleted file, here, I write my experience that I restore my deleted file.

Although I carefully treat every file on my computer and keep my computer away from virus and other harms, still I accidentally deleted an important file. The deleted file is so important for me, so I must restore the deleted file, but is there a way to restore a deleted file? And how can I restore a deleted file? After studying a lot of resource coming from the Internet, finally, I have restored the deleted file. Here, I write these ways which I have used to restore the deleted file to help any people who encounter the same situation with me. Okey, if you want to restore a deleted file, please read following content to restore your deleted file.

When Microsoft introduced the Recycle Bin in Windows 95, it immediately became a failsafe for many users. If we delete a file and realize that the file is important for us and we actually need it, we can recover it easily by doing the following:

1. Double-click the Recycle Bin icon to open the Recycle Bin on Windows desktop.

2. Find the file you want to restore and click to highlight it.

3. Go to the File menu and choose the Restore option.

After completed above steps, the deleted file is now back on our computer in its original place.

While the Recycle Bin is a great utility, there are times that a file is not placed in the Recycle Bin when we delete it. These include files deleted from usb disk, memory stick, sd card and other removable storage device. When we deleted a file within some applications or deleted a file from the command prompt, the file will not be placed in the Recycle Bin too. Also, there are times that we will empty the Recycle Bin and then realize that there was a file that is important for us and we want to restore it. Can we restore a deleted file when it is not existed in the Recycle Bin? Fortunately, The answer still is 'Yes'.

In fact, after we deleted a file from our computer and then emptied the Recycle Bin, the data of the deleted file still exist in the hard disk of our computer, Windows just marks these places of the file for deletion and removes the name of the file from the file system, and these spaces occpied by the file is listed as available spaces for saving new file. So until a file is written to these places, the deleted file is still there and we can restore the deleted file. But Windows dose not offer the function natively, so we need find a third-part software to restore a deleted file, usually we call this software as file recovery software.

At the end of experience, I just have used an excellent file recovery software to restore my deleted file. This file recovery software just is File Recovery Assist. File Recovery Assist is an excellent file recovery software, it allows me to restore deleted files, even though I have emptied the Recycle Bin or deleted file from removable storage device. The software is very easy to use, you can freely download it from here, and install it into your computer following it's installation wizard.
